Status Update
8/18/20
A lot has happened since my last update, and I felt as the reader, you had a right to know where the activity went. Two birthdays had past. The dog's and mine. She turned 13 and I turned 24 years of age. Four days after mine she would pass to a stroke. And after a month and a half of moping around we'd pick up some pups to help fill the void. Three huskies in fact. Two girls and a boy. Pandora, Gaea and Kronos they are. As a consequence, I've had little time for the hobby, which includes this blog. So sadly, my posting will remain sporadic at best. Despite this, they nap quite a bit due to there age, which affords me the occasional painting session. So it's not all doom and gloom.
At the present I hope to be able to complete more pieces for Bolt Action as well as other random pieces in celebration of the hobby. Below are a couple models recently finished in addition to my new furry companions.
Thank you for your time and patience

Model of a Hell-knight 3d-printed from Shapeways.com. Painted/based by yours truly. Intended to resemble the variant from Id software's Doom 3. |
Back-shot. Italian infantry used for scaling. Note the Pentagram featured on its base. |
1/50 Carro P26/40. Model also 3d printed from Shapeways.com. Took the whole of two days to paint. Note the insignia of the Italian Socialist Republic on the Flag.

Scale comparison of the P26 next to a 1/56 Carro M13/40 from Warlord games. 1/50 scale is the closest to 28mm. The nice thing about 3d printing is you can be more scale specific. |
My Birthday cake. Intended to simulate a holiday themed cake in honor of my grandfather born in December. He always shared his cake with the big cat upstairs. |
The trio in there play pin. From left to right: Gaea, Pandora (center), and Kronos. They already have numerous nick-names. |
Kronos behind bars. |
Gaea teething. |
Pandora's smile. |
Thanks for the visit!
